Mike Keown
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Keown is an accomplished, highly experienced business leader with over two decades in the metals industry. He brings broad, global expertise in all facets of metals production, from finance to procurement to general management, positioning him to amplify success in all areas of a business.
As CEO of Commonwealth Rolled Products, Mr. Keown oversees the vision and growth of the company, leading it into the future, building on its legacy and setting a committed course toward excellence.
Mr. Keown formerly served as Executive Vice President and President North America for Aleris from 2015 to 2020. Throughout his 20-year career with the company, Mr. Keown has held various positions in finance, metal procurement, supply chain and general management in North America, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Keown holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oakland City University.
Travis Debes
Chief Commercial Officer
Mr. Debes brings over 15 years of extensive experience in many aspects of the metals industry, from supply chain management to sales and procurement.
In his role as CCO at Commonwealth Rolled Products, Mr. Debes oversees the development and implementation of commercial strategies for the company.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics from Miami University.
Glenn Miller
Chief Information Officer
Mr. Miller is a leading financial expert who brings extensive strategic, accounting and metals industry experience. For over 35 years, he managed all aspects of financial operations for global metals companies.
Served as CFO of Commonwealth Rolled Products from December 2020 through January 2026, Mr. Miller led all financial activities of the company, including business planning and forecasting, internal analysis and budgeting.
In February 2026 Mr. Miller was appointed CIO to lead the integration of Commonwealth and MetalX. He will ensure that all information systems and business process are optimized and integrated.
Mr. Miller holds an accounting degree from Robert Morris University and received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
Rich Burchett
Chief Metals Officer/Chief People Officer
Mr. Burchett has been a leader in all aspects of operations, maintenance, engineering, technology, supply chain and LEAN manufacturing in the metals industry for over 25 years. He brings a broad level of expertise across all facets of manufacturing operations.
Appointed COO for Commonwealth Rolled Products in December 2020, Mr. Burchett oversees all operational functions of the business, implementing business strategies and plans, and setting performance and growth goals. Mr. Burchett served as Vice President, Operations – Lewisport for Aleris from 2014 to 2020.
Mr. Burchett holds a bachelor’s in Technology Management, an AA in Small Business Administration/Management and an AA in Real Estate from Western Kentucky University.
Charles “Chuck” Coney
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Coney has over 30+ years of experience focused in the metals, automotive and aerospace industries and has held senior leadership roles in operations, maintenance, engineering, technology, supply chain, continuous improvement and project management.
As Chief Technology Officer for the company, Mr. Coney oversees all technical processes including product qualification and industrialization, product quality and recovery, capital projects, non-metals procurement as well as new product development. Prior to being appointed CTO, Mr. Coney led the Hot Mill Transformation project, served as Director of Supply Chain and most recently as Vice President of Operations.
Mr. Coney holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and is a Lean/Six-Sigma Black Belt.
Stan Gish
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Gish brings over 30 years of experience in the aluminum flat rolled products and scrap businesses. He has held various technical and operational roles throughout the aluminum supply chain, with recent focus in upstream scrap procurement and operations.
Most recently, he held the position of CEO of MetalX. Before that, he was Vice President of Operations at Tri Arrows Aluminum and held various positions with Logan Aluminum.
Mr. Gish has a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Kentucky and has completed graduate work at Baldwin Wallace College and Vanderbilt University.
Ash Ambulgekar
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Ambulgekar brings over a decade of experience in the aluminum industry holding various financial and controllership roles covering accounting, FP&A, compliance, treasury, and procurement functions.
A part of Commonwealth Rolled Products since February 2021 and appointed as CFO as of January 2026, Mr. Ambulgekar leads all financial aspects and oversight of the company, including strategic business planning and procurement.
Mr. Ambulgekar holds Finance and Accounting degrees from the University of Kentucky and is a Certified Public Accountant.
